I am a 30-something nonbinary cartoonist who goes by the name Chu. I attended the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Japanese. From 2009-2011 I lived and worked in Saitama, Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher through the JET Program. In 2015 I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree from The Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. I live in my house in Arizona filled with friendship and pets.
I’ve been a fan of video games all my life. I mostly play games by Nintendo or indie developers. My favorite genres include RPGs and Action/Adventure games, with my favorites being Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, and Xenoblade Chronicles. I’m also a big fan of Skies of Arcadia, Ace Attorney, and the Little Tail Bronx series.
